Fine Art Photography Exhibition - Landmark Arts Centre

I am very excited that I will be exhibiting my new Fine Art Photography collection at the Landmark Arts Centre, Autumn Art Fair next week. The fair is open Saturday 18th October and Sunday 19th October 10-5pm, with a private view (of all the artists work) on Friday 17th, 6pm-9pm.  If you would like to attend the private view please let me know and I will send you a free ticket. Over 70 artists and designers will be there, selling a wide range of contemporary work including Fine Art, photography, ceramics, sculpture, glass and jewellery.  So well worth a visit!

Great Fosters Wedding - Olly & Claire

We had great day for Claire and Olly's wedding at Great Fosters www.greatfosters.co.uk .  Not a drop of rain and such a lovely couple who really made us feel part of their special day.  Hope you are having a great honeymoon guys, here is a sneak peek of some of our favourite images from the day!

Dog Photography Training Day

Keeping up to date with training is always important and last week I attended a dog photography day organised and run by Nick Ridley www.nickridley.com, which was not only great fun but extremely informative.  It made me realise how hard it is to photograph a dog moving at great speed and after taking many shots of tails disappearing out of the frame I think I finally mastered it!  These are some of the images from the day.

More Flower Photography

I am planning on entering Garden Photographer of the Year, having visited Kew Gardens to view this years winning images (which are fantastic and well worth a visit).  I really love visiting gardens like Kew and Wisley these days, definately a sign the big 4 0 is looming! Anyway, here are my latest flower and plant photographs.

Cute Puppy Photographs!

And they say you should never photograph children and animals.  Well recently I photographed twenty 2-4 year olds at their nursery (all absolute stars!), then this sweet little puppy who was good as gold.  I love photographing dogs, especially when they are this cute.  If you would like a pet portrait session I would love to hear from you!

Flower Photographs

It's nice to do personal projects from time to time and this is one of my favourites.  With the recent weather, it doesn't seem like work to be out photographing flowers.  P.S.  Does it mean I'm getting old when I start to know all the flower names?!

Pre Wedding Shoot - Great Fosters, Egham

A pre wedding shoot before the big day is a great ice breaker.  It helps us get to know a couple better and improves confidence in front of the camera.  Not that Claire and Olly needed any practice, these shots taken at Great Fosters, Egham www.greatfosters.co.uk show how great they already are in front of the camera!  Great Fosters is such a great venue for wedding photography, I would highly recommend it.

Sweet Baby Olivia

Isn't she pretty - takes after her Mum of course!  I love photographing newborns and at 12 days old baby Olivia (or Livi Lou Lou as her big sister has nicknamed her!) just about counts.  

If you are interested in a newborn session I prefer to photograph babies at around 6 days old. This is because they are still very sleepy, perfect for curling into cute positions and capturing tiny hands and feet (also at 10-14 days old, newborn acne may flare up).   A session can be reserved by advising me of your due date, then calling me to confirm a date as soon as your baby arrives!

Mum, Baby & Toddler Fair

At the weekend I took part in the Mum, Baby & Toddler Fair at the Landmark Centre in Teddington, this was my stand.

I was thrilled to get such great feedback on my new products, particularly the Acrylics, which everyone fell in love with and it was lovely to talk to so many Mums (& a few Dads!) about photographing their babies and kids.  I look forward to seeing those who booked their sessions there and then, plus any of you thinking of booking, don't forget the special discount applies until the end of May!

Welcome to my new website and blog!

I really hope you like the new look, it's taken quite a lot of work to get to this stage, so many thanks to Marcus Riley at Line 4, www.line4.co.uk for producing such a fabulous new site and to my clients who agreed I could use their images.  I would love any feedback, so please let me know what you think!

I hope to use my blog as a way of letting you know what new products and special offers are available and to give customers a 'sneak peek' of their shoots.  I'll probably add some personal work too, so keep checking back for updates, which I hope will appear often!
