Silchester House, Berkshire Wedding - Laura & Charlie

I know I start just about every blog post with a weather mention, so maybe I should only say it rained a bit on Laura & Charlie's wedding day (nope I have to mention it was torrentially and ALL day)...  The photos we took outside were during a dry spell of about two minutes, but a huge thanks to Laura & Charlie for braving the elements and an extremely wet field!  Also a big thanks to the lovely staff at Bijou Weddings who arrived promptly with brollies as the rain came down.

A special mention must go to Jay Archer, whose flowers were simply stunning.  Also wasn't Laura's dress gorgeous?  The lace part is a vintage dress found at the wonderful Annies in Camden Passage (also fab for other vintage finds) which was then customised, by adding in the bottom part of the dress.  Loved it!

St Nicholas Chiswick & Pembroke Lodge Wedding - Katie & Matt

Katie got ready at High Road House, Chiswick in an amazing room, perfect for all the detail photographs and a fabulous setting for her beautiful Jenny Packham dress! 

She then married Matt at St Nicholas, Chiswick. Although rather dramatically the ceremony had to be stopped during their vows, when Katie's poor Grandmother fainted and had to be carried out. Sadly even with a church full of doctors she did have to go to hospital, but although she missed the rest of the day, Katie is happy to tell me she made a full recovery.

Katie and Matt's reception was in the Russell Suite at Pembroke Lodge. It was quite sunny and we were able to make good use of the grounds for photographs, without worrying about getting wet, which made a very pleasant change!
