Islington Town Hall & Kettners, Soho - Steph & Michael's London Wedding

It was sunny, but freeeezing cold for Steph & Michael's wedding day, but as it had been chucking it down for what seemed like weeks, this actually seemed like a good thing.

I can't begin to explain, how much I loved how Steph & Michael had brought their own sense of style to their wedding, from Steph's gorgeous Candy Anthony dress, to the red Cadillac and old green Bus, to the beautiful details at the reception (showcasing Michael's fabulous graphics and his talent for making lamps!). All of this set in the perfect background of Islington Town Hall and one of my favourite bars in London, Kettners in Soho.

So with thanks to Katie at Kettners for all her help and with love to Steph & Michael, two of the nicest people you could ever want to meet, here are a few favourites from the day...

Brownsover Hall Hotel, Rugby - Laura & Dan's Wedding Photography

Laura and Dan booked me for their wedding about two years ago!  Over that time we've got to know each other quite well through Twitter and email, so by the time it was their wedding day, they felt like old friends and that's certainly how they and their families and friend's made me feel :)

I was slightly nervous about meeting Laura's Dad, Alan, as he has only just stopped photographing weddings himself, some of which were at their venue Brownsover Hall, but his great sense of humour put me at ease and we were soon comparing notes!

Laura and Dan's day was very much about their unique style, from Laura's 1950's style dress by Candy Anthony, her birdcage veil by Fur Coat No Knickers, to those shoes, which were custom made Manolo's (never have I coveted a pair of wedding of wedding shoes so much!). The flowers were by the local Black Orchid florists and that cake (which had the staff sneaking out the kitchen to admire it!) was by Choccywoccydoodah

So here are my favourites, hope you are able to view from the Maldives Mr & Mrs Plant!
