Atticus & Watson - Baby & Dog Portrait Shoot

So I was always going to love a shoot that involved a Labrador, but didn't anticipate how much I was going to want to hide the lovely Watson in my car and bring him home!  I had such a great time, especially as Carol and Andrew were so chilled out about all my ideas for baby Atti (even whilst the cricket was on!). Thanks for so much fun guys, hope you like my favourite shots...

A beaming baby Atti

Loved this painting so much, couldn't resist sitting Atti under it for this shot!

The completely adorable Watson

OK, so technically I should have all of his head in, but he was so quick it was difficult and I love something about how abstract it makes this shot :)

Snow on Twickenham Green!

I was thinking last week how nice it would be to have some snowy photographs for my photo essay of Twickenham Green, so was excited enough to get up early yesterday to take some photographs. I was glad to get these shots, as around half an hour later the Green was filled with ecstatic kids building snowmen!

This is Cole, my black Labrador, who was a little bemused by all the white stuff. However, it wasn't long before he was having a great time chasing snowballs and stealing snowmen's arms!

Dog Photography Training Day

Keeping up to date with training is always important and last week I attended a dog photography day organised and run by Nick Ridley www.nickridley.com, which was not only great fun but extremely informative.  It made me realise how hard it is to photograph a dog moving at great speed and after taking many shots of tails disappearing out of the frame I think I finally mastered it!  These are some of the images from the day.

Cute Puppy Photographs!

And they say you should never photograph children and animals.  Well recently I photographed twenty 2-4 year olds at their nursery (all absolute stars!), then this sweet little puppy who was good as gold.  I love photographing dogs, especially when they are this cute.  If you would like a pet portrait session I would love to hear from you!
