Atticus & Watson - Baby & Dog Portrait Shoot

So I was always going to love a shoot that involved a Labrador, but didn't anticipate how much I was going to want to hide the lovely Watson in my car and bring him home!  I had such a great time, especially as Carol and Andrew were so chilled out about all my ideas for baby Atti (even whilst the cricket was on!). Thanks for so much fun guys, hope you like my favourite shots...

A beaming baby Atti

Loved this painting so much, couldn't resist sitting Atti under it for this shot!

The completely adorable Watson

OK, so technically I should have all of his head in, but he was so quick it was difficult and I love something about how abstract it makes this shot :)

Wedding Photography at The Royal Berkshire Hotel, Ascot

For anyone who may be planning a wedding at the Royal Berkshire Hotel in Ascot, I have just uploaded a sample album of a recent wedding I photographed there.  This album can be found in the section to the right, titled "My Wedding Photography at Recommended Venues", along with samples of my wedding photography at Wotton House - Dorking, Warren House - Kingston, Great Fosters - Egham, The Elvetham - Hartney Witney, Clandon Park - Guildford, Ham House - Richmond and Painshill Park - Cobham.

The entrance to the beautiful Queen Anne Mansion House that makes up part of the Royal Berkshire Hotel. This venue close to Ascot is a fantastic backdrop for wedding photography with it's scenic 15 acre gardens...

Personal Project - Abandoned Swimming Baths

Not everyones cup of tea, but I have a thing for photographing old, decaying and abandoned buildings. Here are some shots from a personal shoot I did at an abandoned swimming baths. The pool was nowhere to be found under the soil and undergrowth, but the changing rooms made for some interesting images. I would love to photograph an ex bride in her wedding dress somewhere like this - any offers?!

Justin & Lisa's Pre Wedding Shoot - Clandon Park

Justin and Lisa are getting married at Clandon Park in August, so I met with them recently for their pre-wedding shoot.  Lisa had mentioned that Justin wasn't too keen on being photographed, but I don't think it was as bad as he had thought!  Here's a few images from the shoot.

Laura & Izale Mcleod's Wedding Photography - Clandon Park

Laura and Izale's wedding was held at Clandon Park Surrey. Laura had put a great deal of effort into all the little details and everything looked perfect on the day. Here are some of my favourite shots.

Laura's bouquet of white roses made up some of the 2,000 roses that were used on the day!

Laura finally made it to the Tapestry Room at Clandon Park for the ceremony, well it's traditional for the bride to be a little late!

Check out that stormy sky.  It was a bit chilly for June, but the happy couple were all smiles!

Did I mention how gorgeous Laura's Maggie Sottero dress was?!

Couldn't resist a few more detail shots - here's some more of those beautiful roses.

Clandon Park Wedding Photography

So many fabulous images from Laura and Izale's wedding at Clandon Park, I'm finding it hard to choose which to post.  In the meantime here's my favourite from the day. I've gone a little 'artsy' with this one, which really emphasises the back of Laura's amazing dress, which is by Maggie Sottero again (I must have died and gone to wedding dress heaven :)).  More to come!

Fine Art Photography - Exhibition at the Architects Gallery, Teddington

I am pleased to have been selected once again, by the Architects Gallery in Teddington www.thearchitectsgallery.com  I will be showing six of my images at their Summer Exhibition. The show is running in conjunction with Richmond Borough in Bloom (hence the floral theme!). I am showing the following images and would thoroughly recommend a visit to the gallery which will feature both local and national artists.

Carol & Beytan's Wedding, The Royal Berkshire Hotel, Ascot

It was a cloudy day with rain forecasted for Carol and Beytan's wedding at the Royal Berkshire Hotel, Ascot.  However the rain held off and the clouds provided beautiful soft light for their wedding photography. Here are some of my favourite images.

Carol's gorgeous wedding dress was by Maggie Sottero, which I was always going to love as this is also where my wedding dress came from!

Husband and wife at last, doesn't Carol look thrilled!

Carol is a dancer, as you can see here, Beytan (who is also a wedding photographer) not so much!

These two are the most romantic couple I think I have ever photographed, love these two shots where this really shows...

Not bad in front of the camera Beytan!
